Listening to yourself
- 40/80 m: a receiver 300–800 km away. DX bands: 1500 km or more.
- Tune to your frequency in the same mode (USB/LSB/CW). KiwiSDR takes the frequency in the URL: ?f=7090lsb.
- Use headphones: the receiver lags 1–3 seconds behind.
- Compare with PSKReporter and the beacons: if nobody else hears you either, it isn’t the receiver.
- Close the tab when you’re done: slots are limited.
