About
HAMnet.gr shows what’s happening right now on every Greek amateur radio network, and keeps a directory of every Greek service and who runs it.
Principles
- Free for everyone. No ads, no subscriptions.
- Web only. Works in any browser and on any phone. Nothing to install.
- Hosted in Greece. It runs on SV2RIM’s machines. We only take data from third parties, so if one source goes down the rest keeps working.
- Open data. Everything you see here is also available through the API.
Where the data comes from
- BrandMeister: the public last-heard feed (the same one Hoseline uses). We keep traffic through master 2022, on Greek talkgroups (202…) or from Greek callsigns.
- XLX and YSF: the public dashboards of XLX737 (RAAG), XLX165 (SV2SNH), XLX122 (SV1IW), XLX251 (DL2NS), XLX252 (SV2HWL), XLX723 (SV1BGM), XLXGR1 and YSF21009 (SV2SNH), polled every minute.
- EchoLink: the public list at echolink.org, every 5 minutes.
- APRS: SV2RIM’s APRS-IS server (aprsc, aprs.sv2r.im), read-only.
- DX and propagation: the SV2RIM-3 DX cluster and the hamqsl data it carries.
- Contests: the WA7BNM Contest Calendar RSS feed (©1998-2026 Bruce Horn, WA7BNM), every 3 hours, as its terms allow. Exchanges and log deadlines come only from the official rules. Activations from pota.app and SOTAwatch.
- Directory: a survey of Greek networks from public sources (6 November 2026), with a health check every 10 minutes.
We keep nothing beyond what the networks already publish. Last heard holds only the most recent few hundred entries.

Open API
JSON, no key, open CORS. No more than one request every 10 seconds; for live data, use the stream.

The API answers in Greek where it returns text (for example error messages and network names as their operators write them).
